If an event is happening during MTS's regular hours of operation, a technician can setup equipment for the event and then return after the event to breakdown the equipment. There is a $23 flat labor fee for setup/breakdown jobs.
In addition to, students are charged for the equipment used. Most commonly used equipment on these jobs and their prices are listed below. Events five hours or less are charged hourly rates, events longer than five hours are charged at the day rate. These prices include the 50% student discount.
- Computer/Video Projectors- $22.50/hour, $112.50/day
- In room sound systems- $5/hr, $25/day
- Wired microphone (with a table or floor stand) - $1.50/hr, $7.50/day
- Wireless microphone (only in some locations) - $5/hr, $25/day
Not all equipment is available at all locations. Setup/Breakdown service is not available in all buildings. Please contact MTS at least three days in advance to request technician setup.
