Suggested Mac Laptop Display Settings
Selecting our suggested display settings on your Mac laptop will reduce the risk of issues when connecting to MTS projectors.
- Setting the correct resolution
- Click on the Apple menu and select "System Preferences".
- Click on the "Displays" icon.
- Click on the "VGA Display" window.
- Make sure that "Color quality" is set to "Highest (32 bit)".
- In the "Resolutions:" menu select "1024 x 768, 60 Hz".
- Setting the correct screen saver settings:
- Return to the "System Preferences" screen.
- Click on the "Desktop & Screen Saver" icon.
- Click on the "Screen Saver" tab.
- Move the "Start screen saver:" slider to "Never".
- Setting the correct power saving settings:
- Return to the "System Preferences" screen.
- Click on the "Energy Saver" icon.
- Click on the "Sleep" tab
- Move the "Put the computer to sleep..." slider to "Never".
- Move the "Put the display(s) to sleep..." slider to "Never".
